Multan Cantonment.

Multan has one of the biggest army settlements in Pakistan. It is a also a major arms depot of Pakistani army. Consequently the cantonment is a heavily guarded area. Apart from the army deployment there is a commercial part of cantt also which is probably the best place to shop and dine in Multan.
It is studded with shops, offering almost everything you may need, hotels with nice restaurants, and Parks. Multan high court, Multan railway station and Multan airport are also situated in this part of the city.
Although development is taking place in other areas also but cantonment is by far the most developed part of Multan. Most of the buildings are newly constructed and exhibit modern architecture. However you will still find some very old buildings near the railway station or in the 'main Cantt bazaar'.
The markets are not very congested and shopping here is a nice overall experience. Main Cantt bazaar, Chenone tower, bin Qasim mall, Mall plaza and Hassan arcade are the famous shopping destinations in this part of the city.
Multan offers some very tasty cuisines and this place is no exception. The famous shangrilla Chinese restaurant, tasty karhai shop, Ramada inn, indulge, Zanzibar, bundu khan and darbari kabab are some of the famous local dinning places. You may also find KFC and Subway in this part of the city.
